SERVICES / GIS IMPLEMENTATION
Stand up Smallworld GNM so field crews and regulators can both trust it.
End-to-end implementation of GE Vernova Smallworld Geo Network Management (GNM) and PNI for utility and telecom operators — including network model design, data migration, integration, and cloud deployment.
The full stack.
- Smallworld GNM — Network management for electric, gas, and water utilities.
- Smallworld PNI — Physical network inventory for telecom and fiber operators.
- Spatial data services — Validated network models, topology rules, and the audit trail to defend them to a regulator.
- Cloud deployment — AWS, GCP, or Azure. Reference architectures we've built and broken before.
- Integrations — SAP, ADMS, OMS, ERP, and field tools through native connectors.
Three phases. Fixed scope. Your control.
Same engagement model as the rest of our service lines. We don't change the model when the project gets bigger.
Current-state mapping, data quality audit, integration gap analysis, written roadmap with effort estimates and risk register. Buyable plan at the end.
Agile sprints with your team embedded. Network model build, data migration, configuration, integration, UAT. Knowledge transfer is a deliverable, not a side effect.
Hand-off to internal operations or to our Support team — your call. Either way, the documentation is yours.
Implementation, sized to scope.
Three engagement shapes based on environment complexity and timeline. We'll tell you which fits before we quote.
Targeted
Single Smallworld GNM product, single region, defined data set. Typical timeline measured in months.
Program
Multi-product (GNM + PNI, or Smallworld GNM + SAP GEF), multi-region, phased migration from a legacy GIS.
Strategic
Greenfield grid modernization or full SAP-Smallworld GNM integration program. Multi-year. Co-staffed with your team.
Where we'll send you somewhere else.
- You're running Esri or another GIS. This page is for Smallworld GNM. Talk to us anyway — we'll refer you to a partner who specializes in your stack.
- You need a generalist SI to run a multi-vendor program. We're the GIS specialist on those programs, not the prime. We'll work happily under your prime — and tell you in writing if we think they've underscoped the GIS workstream.
- The honest answer is "don't implement yet." Sometimes the assessment finds that what you have isn't worth migrating. We'll say so.
